The legendary bassist Les Claypool, is on tour with the iconic rock band that he formed back in the 80’s—Primus. The bass-heavy trio has been active and on tour for nearly 30 years since 1984.

Last week, Primus’ tour stopped at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. East-coaster and long-time friend and collaborator of Claypool, Dean Ween was at the show and jumped on stage for an extended jam on the Primus tune “Southbound Pachyderm.”

The tunes gets a little weird in the best way possible and Deaner gets his licks in on the second half of the nearly 13 minute jam.

Thanks to Beavis for the recording.
