The Wheel’s of Soul tour continued it’s journey on the east last night with a stop in Simsbury, CT at Simsbury Meadows. After the The Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna took their turns on stage, Tedeschi Trucks Band played a set of their blazing blues and soul for Connecticut.

In addition to a collections of originals, TTB played some covers including a cover of Ray Charles’ “Let’s Go Get Stoned” that wasn’t on the setlist:

As with other shows on the Wheel’s of Soul tour, the Wood Brothers laid a hand during TTB’s set and sat in for a beautiful cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Sweet Virginia.”
