Eric Krasno was joined by friends for a couple of intimate shows at the Blue Note in NYC earlier this week. Krasno’s line-up included Robert Randolph on slide steel guitar and vocals, Nigel Hall on Keyboards, vocals, and stories, Chris Laughlin on bass and Lewis Cato on drums and vocals. The supergroup played an early show and a late show on March 21st, both with special guests.
In the early show, Kraso, Randolph and Hall lead the way through a massive 22-minute rendition of the Grateful Dead’s Sugaree into a frenetic cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.”
